Meet the team
Eyal Bino
Founding Partner
Born in Israel and educated in NY, Eyal has spent years living, breathing and shaping the Israeli-NYC tech scene. He began investing in Israeli startups in 2011, helping founders tap into the NYC ecosystem, and it’s been his life mission ever since.
Eyal co-founded ICONYC labs, a go-to-market accelerator which invested in over 50 early stage Israeli startups and was a Venture Partner at B Capital, a global growth stage VC co-founded by Facebook’s co-founder, Eduardo Saverin.
A super connector and a go-to advisor for Israeli founders on anything related to the New-York opportunity, Eyal shares a deep passion for NBA basketball, an unconditional love for Israeli food and enjoys casual photography. He received his MA in International Business and Politics from New York University.
Ronnie Lavi
Operating Partner
With a unique ability to combine strategy, product and go-to-market into cohesive plans, Ronnie is the product founder you always wanted.
With over 15 years of experience in executive Product roles in NYC, he brings vast in-market experience and ability to lead companies in finding the hockey stick stage and beyond. Ronnie played a key role serving on Innovid's leadership team as the company's SVP Product, turning the company into the market leader it is today. Previously, Ronnie managed and scaled a portfolio of products with over $100M of annual revenue at MediaMind (exited to DG).
A long distance runner and a former basketball coach, Ronnie is passionate about guiding, contributing and helping teams tackle and solve hard problems. He hold an LLB from Tel-Aviv University and an MBA from Duke University.
Vamsi Sistla
Venture Partner
Vamsi is on a personal mission to tackle planet-scale challenges impacting over a billion people. His focus is on inspiring the youth to engage with and address these global issues. Vamsi is dedicated to increasing the success rates of entrepreneurs working on such challenges by providing mentorship and support throughout their growth journey. As a philanthropist, he serves as a donor and mentor for organizations such as Watson Institute, Uncharted and Women in voice.
Previously, Vamsi played a pivotal role as an operating partner at Laconia Capital Group, a venture capital firm, and held an advisory position (LPAC board) at Countdown Capital, a micro VC fund. Currently, he acts as a Limited Partner in esteemed VC funds including Eniac Ventures, AtOne Ventures, Future Perfect Ventures, Climentum Capital, and RPV Global. Additionally, Vamsi is an active angel investor.
Vamsi's entrepreneurial journey includes founding two startups as the founding CTO, with one achieving a successful exit (Offerboard) in 2017. With a wealth of experience spanning fifteen years in product and technology, and eight years dedicated to Data Science and Machine Learning, he brings a comprehensive skill set to the table. Presently, Vamsi leads a global data science (AI/ML) team specializing in product creation and merchandising at Nike.
His commitment to nurturing innovation extends to mentoring entrepreneurs at Microsoft Ventures and Techstars London in the past. Vamsi holds MS degrees from UC Berkeley and Oakland University, rounding out his extensive academic background.
Amit Maimon
Senior Advisor
Amit is an investor, entrepreneur, and growth-focused executive. Amit founded several startup companies, defined business technology strategies for Fortune 500s (McKinsey & Company) and served as SVP of Product Innovation at Automatic Data Processing (NASDAQ: ADP) – the world’s largest HR and Payroll provider, where he built and managed 500+ person team (Product, UX, Engineering and GTM).
Amit completed an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management and is forever passionate about education. While at MIT served as an advisor for MIT’s online education efforts, which resulted in the launch of EDx, MIT’s next generation of online learning offerings & partnerships. Alongside his studies at MIT, Amit founded Socrative, a startup providing mobile-based assessment products for K-12 schools that now serves tens of millions of students and teachers across the US and the world. Amongst other things, today he serves on the Board of Directors at Beit Berl College, Israel’s largest teacher training college.
